Pixel Cars Gameplay
In the game, you can pick between three distinct levels of difficulty. As you go through the levels, you will earn more money by completing and winning various races and/or tasks.
Beginner
Your car will be staged automatically in Beginner Mode, and you will need to warm your tyres. This is accomplished by hitting the Accelerator button and performing a burnout as illustrated below.
Your car will be staged when you’ve completed your burnout, and you’ll need to get ready to begin. There will be a 2.5 second countdown once the “Get Ready” sign has vanished before the stager lights up. To launch your car, push the Accelerator when the lights turn green.
Amateur
The Amateur Mode is quite similar to the Beginner Mode, with the exception that you must use the + and – buttons to move up and down gears. You make 33% more money in amateur mode than in beginner mode.
Expert
You will not be able to stay away from the starting line in Expert Mode, which means you will have to crash to the line until the stager light turns on. You will be able to fail the brakes, the engine via nitro clutch, and the accelerator once you reach the spot. Expert Mode earns you 0% more money than beginner mode.
To launch the car, let off of the clutch and press down on the accelerator. To change gears, press and hold the Clutch, then press and hold the Up or Down gear button before releasing the Clutch.
Expert
After gaining expertise drag racing a variety of automobiles in Freerun mode, you can advance to professional drag racing, which is referred to in-game as Tournaments. The transmission mode is set to manual in these tournament events, and all drag races are 1/4 mile long. The weather/time of day cannot be modified because it is defaulted to daytime.
There are three different sorts of Tournaments, each of which requires a car of a specific class, which is determined by the amount and type of modifications made on your vehicle. The tournaments are highly competitive because there are three heats (Quarter Final, Semi Final, and Final) in which you’ll fight random AI drivers and vehicles who are similar in performance and skill to you and your car. To beat the AI cars, players will need talent to produce a perfect launch and use the transmission with accuracy.
These tournaments also require some techniques, such as adjusting your car’s gear ratios (gearing) to accelerate/launch faster and have a higher top speed than the AI cars they will be competing against.
This tournament is open to automobiles having a class rating of A to D. After paying a non-refundable wager price of $10,000 in-game currency, the winner of all three heats will get a prize of $40,000 in-game cash.
The Light Cup Tournament is open to cars with few to no improvements. This tournament is only open to automobiles with a class rating of A through D. After paying a non-refundable wager price of $10,000 in-game currency, the winner of all three heats will get a prize of $40,000 in-game cash.
This tournament is open to cars with a class rating between F and R1. After paying a non-refundable wager fee of $40,000 in-game currency, winning all three heats will result in a payout of $160,000 in-game cash.
The Semi Pro Kings Tournament is open to cars with competitive upgrades. This tournament is open to cars with a class rating between F and R1. After paying a non-refundable wager fee of $40,000 in-game currency, winning all three heats will result in a payout of $160,000 in-game cash.
This tournament is open to cars with a class rating between R2 and X. After paying a non-refundable wager fee of $200,000 in-game currency, winning all three heats will result in a payout of $800,000 in-game cash.
The Pro League Tournament can be entered by maxing up your automobile with the best upgrades available from the parts shop and/or crates. This tournament is open to cars with a class rating between R2 and X. After paying a non-refundable wager price of $200,000 in-game currency, the winner of all three heats will receive a prize of $1,000,000 in-game cash.
This is the screen that shows you the heat you are in when you first start a tournament or when you complete one.
This is the screen where you may drag things around. It’s important to keep in mind that you should launch the car at the appropriate time. You’ll hear a horn if you launch the car before the drag lights turn green, indicating that you’ve been disqualified from the event. This also means you’ll lose the money you put into the event as a bet.
Due to the fact that these are tournaments, both the player’s and AI cars will always have the same drivetrain type. The Eagle Talon TSI is pitted against a Nissan GT-R (R35) in the photo, and both have AWD drivetrains to keep the tournament drag races competitive.
When you use a car with a specific type of powertrain, you have a 90% probability of encountering an opponent/AI car with the same drivetrain type. It can be determined whether or not an opponent/AI is conducting a burnout (might be FWD or RWD depending on which wheel spins during the burnout) (definitely AWD). This is the only way to know if you and your car are up to the task of defeating it.
Certain opponent/AI vehicles, such as Honda Civics and Mitsubishi Lancer Evos (of any generation), can outpace a player’s vehicle regardless of manufacturer, model, or upgrades.
